When she’s tired from walking, she’ll hold both her hands out to me. And then when she reaches one hand out, it’s her way of politely asking, “Please,” since she has a hard time pronouncing it on her own. I love her. 🎀 And this is what 16 months looks like! She talks to me and asks me questions, and I don’t quite understand what she’s saying half the time, but I respond back to her and she always nods her head in agreement. It’s happening fast... this growing up thing they do!

We’ve been trying to spend a little more time outdoors to burn some energy before her afternoon nap. She is loving every bit of exploring nature 🌿... while I am huffing and puffing running after her at 33 weeks pregnant. Have I mentioned, I love nap time more than ever? 💕

I use to photograph models in their swimsuits, now I spend my time photographing my girl, my littlest muse. She has gotten so aware of me taking her photos, that she now thinks any device you turn on is an actually camera. For example, she’ll turn on our printer (which we probably should move since it’s at her eye level), take several steps back (as if it’s a timer), smile, and say “Cheese!!!” She demonstrates exactly what I do with her when we take self-portraits with my iPhone, it’s cute and entertaining to see her so ecstatic! She is indeed my daughter, and I can’t wait till I can get her her first camera (for kids, obviously!). She will be all smiles with 😍 in her eyes, documenting everything she loves that tickles her sweet heart.

As the weeks go by, our daughter is beginning to learn that ‘mommy has a baby in her belly.’ She kisses my belly, pats it with her little hands, and says, “Baby!” It’s a little surreal that I am here, expecting another child, especially after all these years of desiring to become a wife and a mother. Here I am. I found my way, guided by a greater love and the man above 🙏🏼. We live a different lifestyle now that we have a child... busy in work, in raising Jules, in taking care of our health, in rest, and just taking a breath. There are a lot of happy moments and some tough ones that can sometimes blind us from seeing and feeling the most priceless God given gifts we have. Love, the blessings of birth and parenthood, are worthy. Watching Julyiana eat a strawberry 🍓 at the edge of the pool, and walk around the deck in her diaper with no worries in her world, is innocence in its purest form. This is my happy place. My happy girl.
